Can you prove that it's better to doubt when you're unsure? Can you prove that you must have proof before you can believe something?

I enjoyed the examples of some things that just can't be proven but do not necessarily mean they aren't believeable or that they exist. I tend to fall into the "I need to see it to believe it" category, but I know this can't always happen. Some things you must accept through faith or not accept at all.
